3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, sizes, prices and other information about our products.

However, live plants are natural biological products, and therefore:

• Actual plant appearance may differ from photographs.
• Leaf size, colour, number of leaves and branching may vary.
• Plant height may vary depending on the season and growing conditions.
• Plants may undergo natural changes during transportation.
• Minor leaf yellowing, leaf drop or temporary wilting may occur during transit.
• Pots, nursery bags and other containers may vary from the photographs unless specifically stated otherwise.
• Product photographs are for representation purposes unless specifically stated as the exact plant being supplied.

We do not guarantee that every plant supplied will be identical in appearance to the photograph displayed on the website.

4. Live Plant Availability

Live plants are subject to seasonal availability, nursery stock and climatic conditions.

Although we make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate inventory, occasionally a product may become unavailable after an order has been placed.

If an ordered product becomes unavailable, we may:

• Offer a suitable alternative with the customer’s consent;
• Offer a refund for the unavailable product; or
• Cancel the affected portion of the order and issue an appropriate refund.

5. Plant Varieties

Where a specific variety, cultivar or hybrid is mentioned in the product description, we will make reasonable efforts to supply the stated variety.

For varieties such as PKM-1 Moringa, the product description should be relied upon for the variety being offered.

Natural plant performance can vary depending upon soil, climate, irrigation, fertilisation, sunlight, pruning, pest management and other growing conditions.

Therefore, we do not guarantee a particular yield, plant height, flowering period, fruiting period, pod production or other future plant performance unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

6. Prices and Taxes

All product prices displayed on AlivePlants.com are subject to change without prior notice.

The applicable price for an order is the price displayed at the time the order is successfully placed, subject to correction of genuine pricing or technical errors.

Shipping or delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed during checkout or otherwise communicated to the customer before completion of the order.

Applicable taxes, including GST, will be charged as required under applicable law.

7. Orders

An order placed through AlivePlants.com constitutes a request to purchase the selected products.

Any payment processing issues, failed transactions, refunds or payment reversals may also be subject to Razorpay’s applicable processes and the terms of the relevant payment method.

9. Shipping & Delivery

Orders placed through AlivePlants.com are generally shipped using India Post.

India Post is our primary shipping and delivery service provider for orders placed through the website. Depending upon destination, service availability, product characteristics or operational requirements, we may use an alternative delivery service where necessary.

Once an order has been handed over to India Post or another authorised delivery service provider:

• A tracking number may be provided where tracking is available.
• Delivery time is dependent upon the postal/courier network and destination.
• Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.
• Alive Plants is not responsible for delays caused by postal operations, weather, transportation disruptions, strikes, government restrictions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Customers should use the tracking information provided to monitor shipment progress where tracking is available.

10. Live Plant Transportation

Live plants are biological products and may experience natural changes during transportation.

Customers may observe:

• Temporary wilting;
• Leaf yellowing;
• Leaf drop;
• Minor stem or leaf damage; or
• Other temporary effects caused by transportation.

Such conditions do not necessarily indicate that the plant is dead or permanently damaged.

If a plant appears damaged during transportation, customers should:

2. Take photographs/videos of the plant immediately after opening.
3. Contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Claims may be rejected where there is insufficient evidence to determine the condition of the product at the time of delivery.

13. Returns and Refunds

Returns, replacements and refunds for products purchased through AlivePlants.com are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

Due to the nature of live plants, returns may not always be practical or possible.

Live plants are affected by environmental conditions after delivery.

Once a plant has been delivered, its subsequent health and survival may depend upon:

• Temperature;
• Soil quality;
• Drainage;
• Humidity;
• Fertilisation;
• Pest and disease management;
• Transplanting practices; and
• Local climatic conditions.

Accordingly, unless specifically covered by a written guarantee, we do not guarantee the survival, growth, flowering, fruiting or yield of a plant after delivery.
